International Relations and Grants Department

The International Affairs and Grants Department has been founded in 2007 as a structural unit of the KUL of NASU.      Our mission is to support the competitiveness of the KUL of NASU on the international and European market of educational service and providing the ensuring of the image of the University being the scientific-educational and consultative complex. STRUCTURE AND STAFF:      The International Affairs and Grants Department is subordinate only to the rector of the NUL of NASU Prof. Yuriy Boshytskyi.      Since May 2012 the Department is headed by Ivanna Iedgarova. Also the specialist Oksana Drashchenko secures the work in the Department.      Moreover, the main specialist Olena Sarskykh (0,5) participates in the organization of the international events on the basis of the KUL of NASU and arranges the trips in the framework of the Bolydianskyi Scientific Society Program to Slovak Republic. Anastasia Skoryk, specialist of the department, the 4th year student of the International Relations Faculty, (0,5) place the information on the KUL of NASU and RI of the KUL of NASU web-pages concerning the international activity, develops of the web-pages for the international events, updates the KUL International e-almanac, monitors and organizes he events for students and youth on the basis of the KUL of NASU and abroad. DEPARTMENT KEY TASKS: Development and supporting of the international relations of the University. Assistance to the internationalization of the higher legal education in accordance to the university activity directions. Assistance to the academic staff and students in participating in contests, fellowship programs, grant programs of the international funds and organizations. Participating in the management of the international activity of the University. Implementation of other legally provided areas of international cooperation and variety of external economic activities in the sphere higher education. THE KUL OF NASU INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY REALIZES IN THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS: Searching and attracting of the foreign partners; Organizing and coordinating of the joint international educational programs; Involvement of foreign experts in conducting of master classes for the students of the KUL of NASU and RI of the KUL of NASU; Preparation of project proposals for grants and participating in projects as a member of consortium; Organization of international activities on the basis of the KUL of NASU; Participation in international activities of other universities, institutions and organizations; Providing the academic staff, students and entrants with informative and consultative services; Participation in international exhibitions; Monitoring and informing the academic staff and students about in international competitions, scholarships, internships, etc.; Participation in scientific researches, events and publications; Organization of international youth activities on the basis of the KUL of NASU and abroad; Organization and coordination of summer schools, workshops and trainings; Organizing and conducting of the academic staff and students exchange programs of students and teachers of the KUL of NASU and foreign universities; Representation of the KUL of NASU National in international organizations. THE PROJECTS ON THE BASIS OF THE DEPARTMENT: In the framework of “The School of Politics: Human Rights and Freedoms” will be organized the seminars on the human rights and freedoms observance issues, spreading of the democratic values of the modern society; International Friendship Club of Youth, which is on the list of Euroclubs of Ukraine and unites more than 400 young people from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Moldova, Georgia.
